TAMPA, FL – Tampa has become expensive, there is no denying that Tampa is no longer a working-class town with prices rising astronomically since 2020. Water Street Tampa is one of the top areas of town where people with means are enjoying life, but there are also really great happy hour deals at the businesses in the area for locals to enjoy.
Predalina: This is the best happy hour in Tampa Bay by far. Quality food and drinks at a great price. The cocktails and wine rotate regularly. The best thing on the menu is the Predalina Burger, which did recently increase its price (probably due to the rising cost of beef), but just a great option to enjoy some drinks and food at a decent price in a great ambiance. Fully recommend. Bartenders are super friendly. It’s nice and cold inside. Happy happy is daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and now they are also offering a late night happy hour as well. 1001 E Cumberland Ave, Tampa, FL 33602.
Alter Ego: This premium cocktail lounge offers deals for happy hour that rotate with the seasons and will run you about $12 a drink, far more affordable than their premium pricing. It pays to show up early and try what the bartenders are experimenting with. Food is also part of the happy hour as well. If you get there early enough, the lights might even be on. 420 S Nebraska Ave Suite 103, Tampa, FL 33602.
Yard House: Guests can enjoy deals from Monday to Friday with 1/2 off appetizers and all pizza bringing a pizza down to between $7-9 for an entire pie. Drink specials are also available both earlier in the day and late night from Sunday to Wednesday from 10 p.m. to close. This is a good option if you are going to the game or to a concert. 450 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL 33602.
The Pearl: After a long wait, I am happy to report that The Pearl finally launched a happy hour menu from Monday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests can enjoy $4 off specialty cocktails, $3 off snacks and apps, and $2 oysters on the half shell in the Tavern Bar only. It’s worth it. 823 Water St C100, Tampa, FL 33602.
Small Giant: This lounge connected to a wine bar is offering a great daily happy hour with discounted food and appetizers. Happy Hour is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. from Monday to Thursday.
