TAMPA, FL – The Alley, an international bubble tea chain that opened in Taiwan in 2013, has soft opened its first Florida location in Wesley Chapel just north of Tampa at 28211 Paseo Dr., Suite 100 Wesley Chapel, FL. There are very few locations on the East Coast so the opening of this location is significant. The concept is known for making its own cane sugar, using freshly prepared tapioca pearls (Deerioca), and focusing on quality teas. This is the first franchise for the owners, who have previously worked in Colorado.
During the soft opening there is a limited menu. Upcoming soft opening dates are Thursday, Sept. 19 from noon to 7 p.m. (Brown Sugar Series + Fruit Tea Series + Brew Tea Series) and Friday, Sept. 20 from noon to 7 p.m. (Brown Sugar Series + Yogurt Series + Smoothies Series).

The grand opening celebration for The Alley in Wesley Chapel will be on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a full menu available. The first 100 customers on the grand opening day will receive a goodie bag. There will be a deal of the day as well with buy one drink get one Royal No.9 Can of milk tea. Giveaways will be held for a Macbook Air, PS5, and AirPods.
The shop has some seating, Wi-Fi, and plugs – but is designed for grab-and-go for customers who are shopping at the Shoppes at Wiregrass mall. The shop has opened ahead of the upcoming holiday season and joins a number of new restaurants opening in the area. Tampa has experienced an explosion of bubble tea concepts in recent years.
