ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Juno & the Peacock and its neighboring lounge, Pluma, will host their grand opening on Friday, Aug. 23, at 400 Beach Dr. in downtown St. Petersburg. “St. Pete is attracting national attention as a dynamic hub for creativity across industries like food and beverage, hospitality, and the arts,” said co-owner Jeanna Damkoehler.

“We look forward to being a part of our city’s culinary evolution and, most importantly, serving our local community, who have supported us in opening our sister concept, and met the news of Juno & the Peacock and Pluma with such excitement.”

The concepts will pay homage to the roaring ’60s with a focus on retro sophistication and vibrant hues captures the city’s energy.

Led by industry veteran executive chef Drew Dimitrovski (previously of Oak and Ola) and proudly partnering with St. Pete vendors like Brick Street Farms, Juno & the Peacock has said they will source fresh and locally-sourced ingredients and in-house preparations. The menu will feature coastal classics along with traditional American dishes including handhelds, flatbreads and dry-aged steaks. Seafood dishes will include lobster tail escargot, as well as a raw bar with lobster salad, smoked salmon, crab Louie, shrimp cocktail and oysters. Brunch fans can enjoy house-made pastries, signature salads and brunch classics such as Benedict Oscar.

Juno & the Peacock features a banquet room, alcove dining, bayside room and wine room, providing a wide range of settings for family dinners, birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. Collectively, Juno & the Peacock and Pluma accommodate up to 268 guests with indoor and outdoor dining options. 

The interior design was executed by the award-winning firm, AvroKO; and the visual identities of Juno & the Peacock and Pluma were created by Brand Bureau, one of AvroKO’s sister studios. Each drew inspiration from the region’s aviation history and innovative spirit, enhanced by international influences, to craft original concepts which feel distinctly local.

Juno & the Peacock lunch hours are Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner hours are Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pluma is open Wednesday-Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight.
