Tampa, FL – Manila Eats is retiring its food truck in south Riverview to open a brick and mortar Filipino restaurant near Tampa’s Palmetto Beach neighborhood not far from IKEA Tampa between Brandon and Ybor City. The breaking news was first reported by Creative Loafing Tampa.

The menu at the food truck changes daily and includes crispy pata, chicken adobo, lechon kawali and other Filipino favorites. Their halo-halo is pretty good and they regularly serve specials for different occasions.

Manila Eats offers classic Filipino foods and desserts. The new location is expected to add karaoke and live music on the weekends, according to the restaurant. The new location will be at 1601 S 22nd St. Tampa. It is expected to open on Sept. 28.

The Manila Eats Facebook page was recently taken down, but you can find them online here.
