TAMPA, FL –  Bern’s Steak House, Tampa’s culinary landmark known for its world-class wine collection and dining excellence, has announced the highly anticipated return of Whiskey Tampa Foxtrot (WTF) 2025 in partnership with sister restaurant Haven this November.
The five-day event returns Monday, Nov. 10 through Friday, Nov. 14, offering a curated lineup of whiskey-focused dining experiences to benefit veterans through the Laxer Family Foundation. Dedicated to empowering at-risk and aspiring youth, honoring distinguished U.S. veterans, and supporting emerging culinary talent, the Foundation leads this initiative as part of its broader mission.Â
Funds raised during WTF 2025 will directly support veteran-focused nonprofit organizations. Complementing the dinner series, an exclusive online auction will run throughout the event week, with these proceeds also supporting veteran-focused nonprofit organizations.
Most auction items will remain a surprise until the auction goes live, but guests can look forward to one standout offering which is a donated barrel experience where the winner will visit the distillery to select their own barrel. Bern’s and Haven invite all whiskey enthusiasts and lovers of exceptional cuisine to join this remarkable weeklong celebration of premium spirits and culinary excellence.
“This year marks the 9th annual Whiskey Tampa Foxtrot, and it continues to be one of our most cherished traditions,” said David Laxer, owner of Bern’s Steak House.
“We’re thrilled to once again bring together world-class spirits and Tampa’s finest culinary talent, all while supporting causes that matter deeply to us through the Laxer Family Foundation. The incredible enthusiasm for this one-of-a-kind dinner series is truly humbling, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to orchestrate these memorable experiences while making a meaningful difference in our community.”
Tickets for each dinner will be available through Eventbrite starting at 10 a.m. EST on Saturday, Oct. 4. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly due to the high demand of the series. All tickets are sold in pairs with a limit of one pair per purchase. Each dinner provides an exclusive experience at either Bern’s or Haven and features distinguished industry leaders and master distillers.

Bern’s Steak House offers a world-class dining experience. Founded in 1956 by Bern and Gert Laxer, today, son David Laxer continues the tradition of excellence, with a gastronomic adventure that includes prime 100-day dry-aged steaks cut to order, an array of caviar, and fresh seafood.
The iconic restaurant is home to the world’s largest private wine collection of over 750,000 bottles, complemented by a remarkable whiskey program. The collection earned them the James Beard Foundation’s Outstanding Wine Program Award in 2016.
In 2014 Bern’s was named an Outstanding Restaurant semi-finalist – one of 20 in the country, and Executive Chef Chad Johnson has twice been a semi-finalist for Best Chef: South. Johnson also helms the kitchen of Bern’s culinary-adventurous concept, Haven.Â
