Salt & Straw is giving visitors and those at home a chance to enjoy fall flavors with The Apple Series and Pumpkin spiced flavors. The Apple Series ends on Oct. 2 and the Pumpkin spiced options launched in early September.

Salt & Straw Apple Series offering

Inspired by quintessential fall activities, such as apple picking, autumn harvest parties or drinking apple cider, head ice cream maker and co-founder Tyler Malek has created five flavors that reimagine nostalgic, apple-forward desserts. This limited-edition menu ends on Oct. 2. These flavors are available online via shipping and at Salt & Straw locations nationwide.

Flavors in The Apple Series include:

  • Apple Cider Donuts – Royal icing ice cream studded with hunks of apple cider donuts and ribboned with cinnamon-vanilla caramel
  • Apple and Cheddar Cinnamon Rolls – Back by popular demand, bites of apple pie-stuffed cinnamon rolls are folded into sharp white cheddar ice cream, and finished with a gooey cinnamon swirl
  • Vanilla Apple Custard Tart – An apple cider-spiked vanilla custard with housemade vanilla-apple tart bites folded throughout
  • Caramel Apple Sherbet – A crisp apple sherbet ribboned with vanilla-infused caramel
  • Hoppy Apple Cider Sorbet (v) – Dairy-free sorbet made with dry-hopped apple cider – an homage to the Pacific Northwest’s annual apple and hop harvests

Pumpkin Spiced flavors launched for the fall

Salt & Straw shops nationwide will launch their Pumpkin Spiced Waffle Cone, alongside an accompanying Pumpkin Spiced Brownie Sundae.

Made in partnership with beloved spice company Diaspora Co., the Salt & Straw team infuses their signature waffle cone with an aromatic blend of classic warming spices, focusing on the vanilla-caramel flavors of the original cone’s recipe with notes of cinnamon and allspice.

Guests can order their scoops of choice on a Pumpkin Spiced Waffle Cone, or enjoy the new offering within the Pumpkin Spiced Brownie Sundae – made with Chocolate Gooey Brownie ice cream, dark chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and chocolate sprinkles in a Pumpkin Spiced Waffle Bowl.
