ORLANDO, FL – Just days after a woman sued Universal Orlando Resort over alleged injuries on Stardust Racers, the case has been settled, according to multiple news reports. The woman was seeking $50,000 from the theme park. A man recently died on Stardust Racers at Epic Universe and his family has hired acclaimed civil rights attorney Ben Crump.
The lawsuit filed by the woman claimed she suffered “disability, medical care expenses, loss of the ability to work and an exacerbation of a preexisting condition” after riding Stardust Racers on April 30, 2025 before the theme park officially opened to the public. The woman claimed her “head shook violently and slammed into her seat’s headrest throughout the duration of the ride.”
Orange County records show the case has been settled and is being dismissed, according to WKMG.
