ORLANDO, FL – Massive Korean grocery H Mart is officially opening its first location in Orlando on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025 at 10 a.m. at 7501 W Colonial Dr., Orlando, FL 32818 after years of anticipation and speculation by bloggers and the media in Central Florida. It will be the first H Mart location in Florida.
There will be special giveaways, exclusive promotions, and experiences that celebrate Orlando’s passionate spirit as part of the opening.
The food hall inside the grocer will have a number of popular options including:
- Oh K-Dog & Egg Toast: Korean Corn Dogs
- Myung Ga: Korean BBQ & Tofu Soup
- JAWS Topokki: Korean Street Food
- U Chun: Korean Cold Noodles & Tofu Soup
- Chidon: Japanese Fried Cutlet
- Paik’s Noodles: Korean/Chinese Cuisine
Some of the giveaways for the grand opening include:
- H Mart Rewards Card members will receive a free thermos mug. Those interested can sign-up ahead of time on their app on the Apple Store or Google Play store.
- Customers who spend $30+ will receive a free H Mart State Bag.
- Those who spend $50, $100, or $150 to receive up to 3 free gifts as a bonus giveaway.
- Shoppers will be able to purchase a 15 LB bag of HARU HARU rice for just $1 with a $200+ purchase.
Social media giveaways will also be held on H Mart social media channels on KakaoTalk, WeChat, and LINE.
H Mart opened its first location in the United States in 1982 in Woodside, NY with the first location opened by Il Yeon Kwon, an immigrant from South Korea, under the name Han Ah Reum. H Mart and has expanded across the nation in recent years and now has over 97 locations.
