Bluewater Grill locations celebrate San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl with deals for fans

SAN DIEGO, CA – The two Bluewater Grill restaurant locations in San Diego County are making it as simple as possible for students, alumni and fans visiting the area for the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl to enjoy delicious, fresh, and sustainable seafood before, during or after the big game.

From now through Jan. 10, 2023, Bluewater Grill Carlsbad and Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill in Coronado, Calif., are offering visiting University of Oregon and University of North Carolina fans a choice of one of two limited-time offers.

Either a free cup of Bluewater’s famous house-made New England or Manhattan clam chowder with the purchase of any entrée priced at $25 or more (a $9 value) with no limit per party, or a free appetizer with the purchase of any entrée priced at $25 or more (a value of up to $20). Limit one free appetizer per party.

The choice of special offers is intended for visiting fans and local residents rooting for teams playing in the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl.

The San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl is in San Diego on Dec. 28, 2022 with University of Oregon vs. University of North Carolina.

To redeem the free offer, fans must present merchandise with an official logo or team name of the two schools participating in the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl to their Bluewater Grill or Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill server before ordering on or before Jan. 10, 2023.

The two offers cannot be combined with each other, or with other promotions. One free cup of chowder per purchased entrée priced at $25 or more (no limit per party), or one free appetizer per purchase entrée at $25 or more (limit one per party). Some selections on the menu may not be available.

The two San Diego Bluewater restaurant locations will also extend their weekday happy hours, featuring specially priced drinks and appetizers, during the Holiday Bowl.

Bluewater Grill first opened in Newport Beach, Calif., in 1996 and now operates a leading family of sustainable seafood restaurants. Each locations has different menu items and menu items are rotated seasonally to reflect current availability of seafood and local ingredients.
