Shaq’s fast-casual concept, Big Chicken, is expanding throughout Central Florida and South Florida with at least 40 locations in the works, according to a LinkedIn post from the brand. They hope to have over 200 locations soon. The fast casual was founded by basketball Hall of Famer and celebrated entrepreneur Shaquille O’Neal (Shaq).
Menu items include the Big & Sloppy sandwich, Popcorn chicken, Chicken tenders, Shaq Attack sandwich, Jalapeno slaw, Sweet potato waffle fries, shakes, ice cream sandwiches, and more.
Shaq is no stranger to Florida, visiting Tampa and Orlando regularly for DJ sets as DJ Diesel and, of course, planning with the Orlando Magic in the NBA.
