Jason Perkins the new General Manager at Aloft and Element Tampa Midtown.

TAMPA, FL – Aloft and Element Tampa Midtown, the city’s first dual-branded hotel, has appointed Jason Perkins as its new General Manager. In this role, Perkins will oversee all aspects of the property’s operations, from driving guest satisfaction and financial performance to leading teams and ensuring the property continues to thrive as a key destination in Tampa’s competitive hospitality market.

“Jason brings a proven ability to drive both operational excellence and financial growth while keeping the guest experience at the heart of every decision,” said Evette Torres, Regional Vice President of Operations at Schulte Hospitality Group.

“His ability to create a guest-centric culture while identifying growth opportunities and developing future hospitality leaders makes him the ideal candidate to guide Aloft and Element Tampa Midtown into its next chapter.”

Perkins joins Aloft and Element Tampa Midtown from the dual-branded AC Clearwater Beach Hotel & Courtyard, where he served as Dual General Manager. His career also includes leadership roles at The Karol Hotel in Pinellas County, Lexington Marriott City Center & Residence Inn in Kentucky, Charlotte Marriott City Center, W Atlanta Downtown, and Hotel Adagio in San Francisco. In addition to 15 years in the hospitality industry, Perkins also holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of South Florida.

Aloft and Element Tampa Midtown opened in February 2021 and made history as Tampa’s first-ever dual-branded hotel, blending the design of Aloft with the eco-conscious ethos of Element. The property features 226 rooms between the 111-room Aloft and the 115-suite Element in Midtown Tampa. The property made its debut during Tampa’s Super Bowl LV celebrations.

Located within Midtown Tampa, the city’s premier mixed-use district, the hotel offers guests access to a dynamic neighborhood filled with top restaurants, shops, and entertainment, all just minutes from Tampa International Airport and Raymond James Stadium.
