ORLANDO, FL – STK at Disney Springs in Orlando is participating in Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining this year and offering diners a $60 prix fixe three-course menu with upgrades available for steaks and additional sides available as well. Magical Dining is running now through Sept. 30. Over 160 restaurants are participating and is sponsored by Orlando Health. Diners must ask for the Magical Dining menu in order to select it when visiting a participating restaurant.

I took a dive through the menu this past week.

What’s available to order for Magical Dining at STK?

Appetizer options include a Burrata with marinated beetroot, pickled red onions, basil oil, crunchy sourdough; Tuna Tartare with hass avocado, taro chips, and soy-honey emulsion; Lil BRG’s sliders with wagyu beef, special sauce, sesame seed bun.

The taro chips really made this Tuna Tartare dish taste so good. The tuna was really delicious. I feel like so many restaurants added tartare to their menus in the last decade, but many don’t it right and the key is simplicity while still a pleasant taste in every bite and this was favorite.

For the main course there is an 8 oz. Steakhouse Skirt with confit fingerling, parmesan gremolata, chimichurri sauce; Maple Rubbed Salmon with pickled cherry tomatoes, piquillo broccolini, olive dressing; Mushroom & Truffle Tagliatelle with pecorino, braised mushrooms, shaved black truffle; Shrimp Scampi with sautéed shrimp, linguine, tomato, garlic white wine sauce. Upgrades are available for steak and during my visit I upgraded to add a ribeye along with a butter topping. The ribeye was incredible, but there are other cuts as well. The pasta was also top-notch and very flavorful. I could easily see myself ordering it as a main course. The sauce was perfect.

For the sides we loved the parmesan fries and the Tator tots. Between the two I would pick the Tator tots. I liked how the tots were crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside, really the best of both worlds. The fries were addictive. I could just eat those anytime honestly! Loved the sauces too.

Dessert includes a Pineapple Cake with rum caramel, vanilla ice cream; Cheesecake with raspberry coulis, berries; Chocolate Cake with chocolate ganache sauce. Of the options, the one I liked the most was the chocolate and I normally don’t like chocolate cakes, but this one was decadent without being too sweet. It was superb and a great way to end the meal.

Do not skip the chocolate cake.
