BRANDON, FL – Clasico Italian Chophouse has opened at Westfield Brandon at 775 Brandon Town Center Drive. The long-running Italian concept from Sarasota features a sleek indoor bar, plenty of TVs for watching sports, regular dining tables and booths, in addition to outdoor dining and games.
The restaurant is connected to Chapter 11 Brewpub & Smokehouse, which features a private karaoke room, pour-your-own-beer beer concept, basketball, darts, arcade games, and more. The food hails from a Texas pit master who also serves as an in-house butcher for the Italian concept next door, ensuring the best cuts of steak and meat for diners.

Guests can order between to the two concepts within reason as well. Clasico Executive Chef Jose L. Camey has a background that spans decades in the restaurant business, with prior work with Disney Spring’s Paradiso 37 and Cafe Tu Tu Tango on International Drive in Orlando’s busy tourist district. Camey has also worked at Boca Winter Park as well.

The menu at Clasico includes appetizers including Skillet Mussels, Bruschetta Clasico, Zucchini Fritte, and more. Pastas are made-fresh from scratch and include Bucatini & Meatballs, Orno Ziti Bolognese, Creamy Parmesan, Pecorino & Cheese Creste Di Gallo, to name a few. Salads and pizza are also available.

Brunch is held on the weekends.
The cocktail list focuses on Italian classics such as Aperol Spritz and Limencello as well as more standard bar menu items including a Bramble, Bees Knees, Espresso Martini, among other options. Drinks range from $10-$16.
