The Ybor City Chamber of Commerce is honoring the Hotel Haya and Alfonso Architects at its 56th Annual Gala on September 17 at 6 p.m. at the Historic Columbia Restaurant.
The Ybor City Business Impact Award will go to Hotel Haya, which is being “honored for its financial, cultural, and community investment in Ybor City.” Hotel Haya is a boutique hotel offering world-class service with authentic hospitality, while capturing the unique and dynamic character of Ybor City. It was designed by local Tampa firm, Alfonso Architects, Inc.
The 28th Adela and Cesar Gonzmart Award will be presented to Alberto and Carlos Alfonso, founders and owners of Alfonso Architects, an award winning 30-member architecture firm in Ybor City. The Alfonso’s are being honored for their many contributions to the Ybor City community since the founding of the firm in 1988.
The 56th Annual Ybor City Chamber of Commerce Gala will feature tapas, a cash bar, live entertainment, and dinner. This year’s platinum sponsors are the Columbia Restaurant Group and Tampa Electric Co. The event will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. onSeptember 17, tickets are $100, black tie is optional.
