NEWS: Whiskey Foxtrot this weekend at Epicurean Hotel Tampa – SOLD OUT!

The third annual Whiskey Foxtrot Tasting is this weekend at the Epicurean Hotel in South Tampa. Events are running most of week starting on Wednesday, November 6th. This year’s event is a celebration of women in whiskey.

Featured women include:

  • Nicole Austin, George Dickel Master Distiller
  • Erin Yesser, Edrington Ambassador
  • Natalia Cardenas, Woodford Reserve Ambassador
  • Jill Boyd, Compass Box Whisky Maker
  • Ingrid Rodriguez, WhistlePig Regional Manager and Steward of the Brand
  • Andrea Wilson, Michter’s Master of Maturation
  • Shayna Kaufman, Brown-Forman Brand Ambassador

Guests will sample more than 200 whiskeys and bites presented by some of Tampa’s top restaurants including Bern’s Steak House, Elevage, Big Ray’s Fish Camp, Nebraska Mini-Mart, Forbici, and more.

If you love whiskey, this event is one of the best ones I have ever had the chance to attend and highly recommend fans to watch.

Tickets are SOLD OUT. General Admission tickets are $95 per person and VIP is $175 per person. VIP includes an hour of early access and access to exclusive bottles, as well as a VIP cocktail lounge located at the EDGE rooftop bar with music, a cigar rolling station, and new this year – a Whiskey & Chocolate Lounge in the Epicurean Theatre.

Themed dinners from whiskey partners are also sold out. If you missed your chance to get tickets this year, make sure you grab them next year.

Event proceeds and opportunities to win will benefit Operation First ResponseJackson In Action 83 Foundation, and Southeastern Guide Dogs through the Laxer Family Foundation.

Inaugural Whiskey Tampa Foxtrot on October 14th

Bern’s Steak House and Epicurean Hotel are having their inaugural Whiskey Tampa Foxtrot on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at the Epicurean Hotel located at 1207 South Howard Avenue.

The event will feature over 200 handcrafted whiskeys and artisan foods from local restaurant to complement the tasting. Educational seminars will also be held by industry experts. The event is for ages 21+.

High West Distillery Dinner Thursday at Hard Rock Tampa

This Thursday, July 28th, 2016 – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino located at 5223 North Orient Road will host a High West Distillery Dinner in the Council Oak Lounge with a cocktail reception at 6:30PM and dinner promptly at 7:00PM. This event is for guests ages 21 years and older.

The four-course will showcase innovative culinary dishes paired with High West Distillery spirits including:  High West Distillery Silver Whiskey, High West Distillery American Prairie Bourbon, High West Distillery Campfire, High West Distillery Limited Release – Yippee Ki-Yay and High West Distillery Double Rye.

Each guest who attends will receive a commemorative bottle of High West Distillery Double Rye. There will also be a special performance by Josh Carroll.

Tickets cost $221 (including taxes and gratuity) per person and space is limited. Tickets can be purchased by calling (813) 627-6630.

High West Distillery began in 2009 and was opened in Park City, Utah – becoming the first distillery in Utah since 1870, pre-prohibition era. The distillery was founded by David, a biochemist with a passion for whiskey, and his wife, Jane Perkins. The High West Master Distiller, Brendan Coyle, has a Master’s of Science in Brewing and Distilling Science from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and began his career at Red Rock Brewing Company.
