Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone! This food blogger is finally on summer vacation so look for lots of updates to be coming soon. I thought that Cinco de Mayo would be the perfect day to blog about Jarritos sodas. I received a package from one of their social media consultants some time ago and had…

Ichiban Sushi (Gainesville)
During visits to Gainesville I am never quite sure where I should eat. About 3 years ago my friends and I discovered Dragonfly Sushi and it quickly became the default sushi spot to visit during trips to the University of Florida. However, my last visit to Dragonfly was less than satisfactory and prompted us to…

America the Edible by Adam Richman, Man Vs. Food

The Columbia Cafe
My family and I dined at The Columbia Cafe tonight. It is located next to the Tampa Bay History Center. The outdoor patio doesn’t seem to be part of the restaurant at first glance. A branch of the famous Columbia chain, this cafe offers are more simplified menu and a beautiful waterfront view of Tampa Bay. Channelside…

Yamato Japanese Steakhouse
My friend recently treated me to dinner at Yamato Japanese Steakhouse in the Wiregrass Mall. I have been to their bar before (more on that soon), but have never had their Teppanyaki before. We arrived pretty late during a weeknight so the place wasn’t too busy. There was one other group sitting with us who…

Cappy’s Pizzeria opens in Riverview
Cappy’s Pizzeria opened last week in Riverview where Cuenelli’s once stood and I finally got a chance to try earlier today after eagerly awaiting it’s arrival this past year. Cappy’s is only open from 5-9PM Sunday-Thursday and 5-10PM Saturday and Sundays, so keep that in mind when planning your pizza trip. I ordered over the phone…
